Know what every patient paid and what's still left

Payments against the whole treatment plan, what's left, and monthly installments that track themselves

The problem

Dental work runs over several sessions and patients pay in parts. Reception keeps the installments in a notebook, nobody is sure what's left, and late payments slip by without anyone noticing.

What's done and what's paid, side by side

The account sits under the treatment plan, in the visit sheet and on the patient's Dental tab. A bar shows what's been paid out of the plan total and what's left to pay, and every payment is listed with its date and method. Marking work done and taking money are separate: the plan shows what's done so far, the account shows what's paid, and the balance due is the plan total minus what's paid. Visit fees paid in the normal appointment payment stay out of the plan and are marked as visit fees.

Installments

To split what's left, pick 2, 3, 4 or 6 installments. Kashfy divides the balance monthly starting a month from today, rounds each one to 50 EGP and lets the last one take the remainder. Payments recorded after that pay off the installments in order, oldest first, and each one shows where it stands: paid, part paid, due today, overdue or upcoming. Choose None to remove the schedule.

Who records the money

Reception, owners and admins record payments: type the amount, pick cash, card, InstaPay or transfer, and the bar and balance update straight away. A payment can't be more than what's left on the plan. Dentists see the account but don't record money. Plan payments count as revenue in Finance, the same as visit payments.

Who this is for

A

Implant case paid over six months

A down payment on the day, then six monthly installments. Each visit, reception records what came in and the next installment due is right there.

B

Patient who pays ahead of the work

They paid for the crown before it was fitted. The plan shows the crown still planned, the account shows it paid, and nothing gets charged twice.

C

Owner checking who's behind

Overdue installments stand out in the patient account without digging through a notebook, so reception can call before it turns into a bigger gap.
