The problem

The plan lives on a paper chart or in the dentist's head. The patient comes back a month later and nobody remembers which tooth was next, which surfaces had caries, or what price was agreed.

Every tooth, every surface, its own history

The chart shows every tooth with its roots, numbered 11 to 48 (or 51 to 85 for primary teeth), drawn from the dentist's side so the patient's right is on the left. Pick a finding - caries, filling, sealant, crown, fracture, root canal, post, bridge, implant, missing - and tap the surface or the tooth. It saves straight away, and tapping a tooth opens its history: every finding and treatment with the date and the dentist. Allergies, chronic conditions and medications sit in a red strip above the chart, before anyone reaches for the anaesthetic.

Prices come from your list
