The problem

Mid-filling, the assistant opens the drawer and the A2 composite is gone. Nobody noted that the last syringe was opened, and the order goes to the supplier when it's already too late.

Every item with its level and status

Every item has a category (anesthesia, restorative, endo, implants, prosthetics, disposables), a unit, a minimum and a unit price. The board shows what's on hand, a level bar against the minimum, and a status: OK, Low or Out. Anything at or below its minimum lands on the To reorder strip at the top, next to the total stock value.

Taken out on its own

Set once what each procedure uses - a root canal takes 2 anesthetic carpules, a box of files and a box of gutta-percha. When the dentist marks that procedure done in the treatment plan, those materials come out of stock on their own, with the patient's name on the movement. Stock never goes below zero.

    Receiving stock

Receive stock with the quantity, unit price, supplier and, for items like implants, the lot number. With a price, the delivery is recorded as a Supplies expense in Finance unless you turn that off. The - and + taps fix a count on the spot, Count / adjust corrects it after a stock take, and every item keeps its history: received, used, adjusted.

    Who this is for

    A

Busy clinic with one assistant on stock

Instead of checking drawers, the assistant opens the To reorder strip on Thursday and sends the supplier one list.

    B

    Implant clinic tracking lots

Each implant delivery is received with its lot number, and every one used is tied to a patient, so you can trace any implant back.

    C

Owner who wants to know where the money goes

Deliveries land in Finance as Supplies, and the stock value shows what's sitting on the shelves right now.
