    The problem

The doctor does a cast or an injection, reception forgets to add it, and the bill is just the visit fee. Even when it's billed, nobody knows how much the syringe, the ampoule and the splint cost the clinic.

A catalog with price, cost and margin

Settings has a procedures catalog. Each procedure has an Arabic and English name, the price the patient pays, and the items it uses - a syringe, an ampoule, a splint - with a quantity and a unit cost. Kashfy adds up the cost and shows the margin next to the price, so you see straight away that a 600 EGP injection costs you 185 in supplies.

    The visit's bill

During the visit, the doctor searches the catalog and adds what they did. The price comes from the catalog but can be changed for this visit only - a discount for a regular, a second joint - and the card shows the catalog price next to it. The visit's bill is the visit fee plus its procedures, with what's been paid and what's left right underneath.

    Past visits stay put

Edit a price in the catalog tomorrow and yesterday's visits don't move: each visit stores its own copy of the name, price and items. Once a visit is fully paid, only a manager can change its procedures, so the books stay the books.

    Who this is for

    A

Orthopedic clinic doing injections and casts

Knee injections, plaster casts and dressings are in the catalog with their supplies. Every one the doctor does lands on the bill, and the owner sees which procedures actually pay for themselves.

    B

    Dermatology clinic with consumable-heavy sessions

A peel uses a kit, gloves and gauze. With unit costs entered, the margin per session is right there, so pricing stops being a guess.

    C

    Clinic that hates billing arguments

The doctor adds the procedure during the visit, reception sees fee plus procedures on the same card, and the patient gets one clear total.
