You're mid-consult, the patient asks about something from the last visit, and you can't quite remember what you prescribed. Or a patient hands you a CBC from an outside lab and you need to get it into the right file. It happens every day in any clinic.
The Doctor Assistant in Kashfy is a chat built for the doctor, not the front desk. Here is what it does, how it works step by step, and where its limits are.
What the Doctor Assistant is
It's a chat inside Kashfy that you talk to the way you would talk to your nurse: "Who do I have today?", "Show me Nour's last visits", "What does Karim still owe?". It looks the answer up in your own patients and replies in a line or two, with a card showing the details.
You can write in Egyptian Arabic or English, however you normally talk.
The cards it returns
- Patient card: allergies and Facts.
- Visits list: complaint, diagnosis, plan and drugs.
- Today's schedule: queue numbers, with first-time patients marked.
- Billing card: total paid, discounts and what's left on each visit.
So when you ask what Karim still owes, the answer comes from the actual payment record, not from memory.
Filing lab papers with a photo
A patient gives you an outside paper: a CBC or a chest X-ray report. Take a photo or attach a PDF. The assistant reads the name and date printed on the paper, finds the matching patient and asks, "Does this paper belong to Nour Hassan?".
- Photograph the paper or attach the PDF.
- The assistant suggests the patient.
- Tap Yes, save and it goes into her file.
- If it's the wrong person, tap Someone else and search yourself.
Nothing is filed until you confirm.
What it does not do
It doesn't interpret results or read them back to you. It reads only the name and date to find the patient. Reading the result and making the clinical call stay with you.
It's also read-only. It can't change the record. The one thing it can do is save an uploaded paper to a patient, and only after you tap to confirm.
How it differs from the dashboard agent
Kashfy also has an AI agent inside the dashboard, and that one runs the clinic: bookings, revenue, the team. The Doctor Assistant is the doctor's own: their patients' records, their schedule, what a patient paid, and filing lab and scan papers.
Reception can't use it, and each doctor sees only their own patients, exactly like the patient pages.
Tokens and cost
Each doctor gets 500K tokens a month included with the subscription. The balance shows under the chat and renews on the 1st of every month. If you run out early, add a pack for the rest of the month: 100K for 50 EGP, 200K for 100 EGP, or 500K for 250 EGP.
The plans themselves are priced by bookings, not by doctor. See the pricing page.
Open it from a visit
If you open it from inside a visit, it already knows the patient. You can ask about the last prescription or the remaining balance without typing a name. It works alongside the Visit Workspace, which keeps history and notes on one screen.
