Sick Leave, Referral, Certificate: Medical Reports Printed in a Minute

How a doctor writes a sick leave, referral or fitness certificate in Kashfy, with AI that fixes spelling only, and prints it on A4 ready to sign and stamp.

Doctors get asked for more than prescriptions every day: a sick leave for an employee, a referral to a colleague, a fitness certificate. Too often it is written in a hurry on paper or in Word while the patient waits.

Kashfy has a button called Write MR that gets this done in about a minute. Here is what you see, step by step, what the AI actually does, and where the limits are.

Where is the Write MR button?

It appears in three places: on every row of the doctor's patient list, on the patient's page, and on the visit page. So you can write the report in the middle of a visit, or later when a returning patient asks for a paper.

A report written from the visit page stays tied to that visit. If you get interrupted and close the window, the draft waits for you. Tap Write MR again for the same patient and your text is right where you left it.

Pick a title and write the way you always do

With one tap you choose the title: Medical Report, Sick Leave, Referral or Fitness Certificate. Need something else? Type your own title, like To whom it may concern.

Then write the report in Arabic, English or both. There is no rigid template forcing a wording on you.

Review: the AI fixes spelling only

When you finish, tap Review. The AI fixes spelling only: misspelled medical terms, drug names and plain typos.

What it does not do:

  • It does not rephrase any sentence.
  • It does not reorder anything.
  • It does not translate.
  • It does not touch numbers, doses, dates or names.
  • Line breaks stay where you put them.

If you don't like a fix, Undo brings back your original text in one tap. If nothing needs fixing, it tells you so. The point is that this paper gets signed and stamped, so the words must stay yours.

Save, then Print. The page comes out with:

  • The clinic's name, logo and phone at the top, with the doctor's name.
  • The title in the middle.
  • The patient's name, age and gender, and the date.
  • Your text.
  • A signature line with the doctor's name under it.

Sign it, stamp it, hand it over. Saved reports sit on the patient's page, newest first, so when someone comes back a month later for another copy you don't write it again.

Who can do what?

The clinic's doctors write reports, including an owner or admin who is also one of the clinic's doctors. Only the doctor who wrote a report can edit or delete it.

Reception can open a report and print another copy when the patient comes back for it, but cannot edit it. That way the patient gets the paper without interrupting the doctor, and nobody but the doctor changes medical wording.

The limits

  • The AI checks spelling only, so the medical content is entirely your responsibility.
  • A doctor has to write the report; reception can't write or edit one.
  • Reports print on their own A4 layout, separate from your prescription paper, which has its own design.

This is part of every plan. Kashfy charges per booking, not per doctor, and every feature is included on every plan. See the pricing page; the first 30 bookings are free.

A day at the clinic

A patient with a sore throat needs a two-day sick leave. The doctor opens the visit, taps Write MR, picks Sick Leave, writes two lines, taps Review (a misspelled drug name gets fixed), saves and prints. The A4 page carries the clinic logo, and the doctor signs and stamps it. A week later the patient calls: the paper is lost. Reception opens it from the patient's page and prints another copy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the AI rewrite my report?

No. Review fixes spelling and typos only. Wording, order, language, numbers, doses, dates and names stay as you wrote them, and Undo restores your original text.

Who can write a medical report?

The clinic's doctors, including an owner or admin who is also one of the clinic's doctors.

Can reception edit a report?

No. Only the doctor who wrote it can edit or delete it. Reception can open it and print another copy.

What if I close the window before saving?

Your draft is kept for that patient and that visit. Tap Write MR again and it is where you left it.
